Print What You Want to Preserve

What if the only way to view your parents wedding photos was on a floppy disc? USB drives are nice for now, but who knows when they will go the way of the floppy disc. Print today's moments so you can enjoy the memories for years and generations to come. It has been said that in "50 years, the most photographed generation in history will have no pictures." Don't let that be you. Ask about prints.

The Allison's

The world is full of amazing people and sometimes you are lucky enough to share your life with them. We haven't known Mark and Angela for a very long time and yet the impact they have had on my family has been great. I was happy to be able to take a few pictures of them before they leave our little city of Mesquite and head off to their next big adventure in Delaware. They will be missed but I am sure that great things will follow them where ever they go.
(side note: I tried a few new blurring techniques offered on picnic again after I edited all my photos in elements- you know, just for kicks)

Victorian Tea Party Inspired Shoot

Would anyone care for tea? This shoot actually took place quite some time ago. I got to work under the tutelage of the fabulous Lisa Barnum of KAT Barnum Photography. I tried something different in the editing, just for fun, I tried picnic.com (which sadly is closing on April 19) I tried the soft filter action, but I think it blurred the pictures a little too much. Also, I am using the new blog interface and for some reason it wouldn't align to of my photos the right way, they are horizontal when they should be vertical. I don't know what to do about that. I think I want to go back to the old blogger! I hope you can enjoy these photos anyway!
These little girls (my daughters an a good friend) were such good sports, the weather started out just fine but the temp soon dropped and they got quite chilly!
(*Edit: I switched back to the old blog interface and added the pictures that were turned the wrong way (horizontal instead of vertical) but now I can't delete the originals, so bear with me and the duplicates)
